This Shipping, Delivery & Returns Policy forms part of the Terms and Conditions of sale between you and Boho Stones. By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms outlined below.
Shipping & Delivery
Processing Time
Most Boho Stones pieces are ready-made and dispatched within 1–2 business days of payment confirmation. Occasionally, some orders may require up to 72 hours before dispatch. Orders are processed in the order they are received. If you require your order to be fast-tracked, please contact us prior to checking out so we are able to confirm we can meet your requirements.
Shipping Methods
We ship orders using Australia Post or other reputable courier services.
- Australia: Standard and Express shipping options available
- New Zealand: International tracked shipping with options available
Tracking details are provided via email once your order has been dispatched.
Shipping / Insurance Costs
We lovingly prepare and ship each Boho Stones order via Australia Post using tracked Parcel Post or Express Post services within Australia, as well as tracked international delivery to New Zealand.
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on parcel size, weight and destination. As a guide:
- Parcel Post (up to 250g) with tracking $9. Estimated 2+ business days within Australia. An additional $2.95 is charged for signature on delivery.
- Express Post (up to 250g) with tracking $12. Next business day delivery within the Express network. An additional $2.95 is charged for signature on delivery.
- International Standard shipping to New Zealand for parcels (up to 250g) $16. An additional $5.50 is charged for signature on delivery.
- International Express shipping to New Zealand for parcels (up to 250g) $33. An additional $5.50 is charged for signature on delivery.
All domestic shipments include $100 insurance cover for loss or damage while in transit with Australia Post. For added peace of mind — particularly for higher-value, handmade pieces — additional insurance (Extra Cover) can be selected, charged at $2.50 per additional $100 of cover (up to $5,000).
International orders to New Zealand may also include optional Extra Cover from $4.00 per $100 of value (up to $5,000).

Authority to Leave & Signature on Delivery
All parcels are sent with tracking. Customers may choose Authority to Leave (ATL) at checkout. If ATL is selected, Boho Stones is not responsible for loss or theft once delivery is confirmed by the courier. For higher-value orders, we strongly recommend selecting Signature on Delivery for added security. Additional shipping insurance may be arranged at the customer’s cost — please contact us prior to dispatch.
Delivery Timeframes
Estimated delivery times vary depending on location and shipping method selected. Typical delivery times range from 2–14 business days. Please note that delivery timeframes are estimates only and may be affected by postal delays, peak periods, or circumstances outside our control.
Lost or Damaged Parcels
Boho Stones takes great care when packaging your order. If your parcel is lost or damaged in transit, please contact us as soon as possible so we can assist you in lodging a claim with the courier.
Under Australian Consumer Law, responsibility for goods remains with the seller until they are delivered. We will work with you and the courier to reach a fair resolution where required.
Returns, Exchanges & Store Credit
Change of Mind
We understand that sometimes things don’t feel right. While we do not offer refunds for change-of-mind purchases, we may offer an exchange or store credit subject to the conditions below:
- Requests must be made within 30 days of delivery
- Items must be unused, unworn, and in resalable condition
- Original packaging must be included
- Return postage is the responsibility of the customer
- Sale items are final sale unless faulty
Hygiene Items
For hygiene reasons, earrings cannot be returned or exchanged for change of mind. This does not affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law if the item is faulty.
Custom & Personalised Items
Custom-made or personalised pieces are not eligible for return or exchange for change of mind, as they are created specifically for you. This does not limit your rights under Australian Consumer Law in the event of a fault.
Faulty Items & Australian Consumer Law
Boho Stones complies fully with Australian Consumer Law. If an item is faulty, damaged, or not as described, you are entitled to a remedy under ACL. Depending on the nature of the issue, this may include a repair, replacement, store credit, or refund.
Fault Reporting
Please contact us within 7–14 days of receiving your order if you believe an item is faulty. Include a description and clear photos to help us assess the issue promptly. Normal wear and tear, tarnishing, accidental damage, or changes due to exposure to chemicals, moisture, or improper care are not considered faults.
Warranty
All Boho Stones jewellery comes with a 45-day warranty from the date of purchase (inclusive of estimated shipping time). The warranty covers manufacturing faults such as broken clasps or chain issues not caused by wear or misuse. Once assessed, we will offer an appropriate remedy in line with ACL.
The warranty does not cover:
- General wear and tear
- Tarnishing or oxidation
- Loss or theft
- Damage caused by improper care or storage
Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled prior to dispatch. As we do not offer refunds for change-of-mind purchases, cancelled orders will be issued a store credit. Once an order has been dispatched, cancellations are no longer possible.
Boho Stones reserves the right to cancel orders due to:
- Payment issues
- Incorrect or incomplete delivery details
- Product unavailability
- Other reasonable business circumstances
